AI for your CA firm that never leaves your office

We install a private AI system on a machine your firm owns. Partners and staff use it to search, summarise and draft from client files, and no document is ever sent to a public AI service.

Demos start in December 2026. First pilot installs begin in early 2027.

Floor plan of a CA firm's office with a private AI hub Staff desks, the partners' cabin and the records room all connect to an AI hub in the server corner, inside the office walls. A line toward the public AI cloud outside stops at the wall, because nothing is sent out. Public AI cloud Your firm's office Nothing sent out Partners' cabin Server corner Staff area Records room Client files AI hub Your machine
A typical small-firm office. The hub sits with your other equipment, and client files are read there and nowhere else.

Your team already uses AI. The question is where client files go.

Many CAs now use public AI tools for audit, tax and compliance work. Each time a client document is pasted or uploaded into one, it leaves your office and is processed on someone else's servers.

Confidentiality duties under the ICAI Code of Ethics sit with your firm, and the main obligations under India's DPDP Rules apply from May 2027. Most small and mid-sized firms don't have an IT team to build a private alternative, so we install one for you.

From first call to first answer

Four steps, scheduled around your busy season.

  1. We map the work

A short call and a visit to find the tasks that take up your team's hours, and how many people will use the system.

  2. You buy the machine

We recommend the hardware. Your firm buys it directly from the supplier and owns it outright.

  3. We set it up and train your team

We install open-source AI models, connect your document folders, create staff logins and run hands-on training.

  4. We keep it running

Monthly support covers updates, newer models as they appear, fixes and a regular check-in.

Work your team can hand to it

The hub is set up around your firm's own files and the tasks you repeat every week. For example:

  • Tax and GST notices

Reads the notice alongside the client's file and drafts a reply for your team to review.

  • Bank statements

Summarises months of transactions by period and category, so your team starts from an overview instead of raw pages.

  • Audit working papers

Finds the schedule, note or prior-year comment you need, and shows the file and page it came from.

  • Long documentsAgreements, annual reports, offer documents

Summarises them and answers questions about them, with page references you can check.

  • Client queries

Drafts a first reply using your firm's own past work on similar questions.

Answers point to the file and page they came from, and your team reviews everything before it goes to a client.

Built so client data stays put

Every installation follows these rules, and they're written into our agreement with your firm.

  • Runs on a machine your firm buys and owns, inside your office.
  • Client files are read on that machine and are never uploaded to a public AI service.
  • We set it up so we never need to open your client files, including during support.
  • Uses open-source AI models whose licences allow commercial use.
  • Works over your office network, so day-to-day use doesn't depend on an internet connection.
  • Your firm reviews and signs off on all work, as it does today. The AI drafts; your people decide.

How it compares with public AI tools

Public tools are excellent for general questions. The hub is for work that involves your clients' files.

How pricing works

You pay us for setup and support. You never pay us for hardware, and the machine is yours. We quote after the first call, once we know your firm's size and the tasks you want covered.

  • SetupOnce

Installation, models configured, your document folders connected and staff trained. An advance is due before we start.

  • SupportMonthly or yearly

Updates, newer models as they appear, fixes and a regular check-in.

  • Add-on workflowsPer workflow

A new task built in when you need it, such as GST notice replies or bank statement summaries.

  • HardwarePaid to the supplier

You buy the machine directly from a supplier we recommend, so you own it outright.

Who's behind Premisa

Premisa's founder has cleared CA Inter (Group 2) and CFA Level 1, and has worked on IPO and audit assignments. That work showed how many hours go into reading, reconciling and re-typing, and how tempting it is to paste client files into a public AI tool to save time.

Premisa exists to give firms that speed without the risk. Every system is built and installed by the founder personally.

Premisa is not a CA firm and doesn't provide audit, tax or advisory services. We set up and support the technology; your team stays in charge of the work.

Become one of our first pilot firms

We're starting with a small number of CA firms. Pilot firms help shape the system around real practice work, and get a hands-on setup in return.

  • A live demo on sample documents, never your client data
  • A first setup focused on one or two tasks your team does every week
  • Installation scheduled around your busy season
  • A written agreement in place before anything is installed

Questions partners ask

Do you ever see our client files?

No. The system is set up so client files stay on your machine, and our support work doesn't involve opening them. This is written into our agreement with your firm.

Does this make our firm DPDP compliant?

No tool can do that on its own. Keeping client files on hardware you control removes one route for that data to leave your firm, and we'll walk you through exactly how the setup works. Your firm remains responsible for its own compliance, so check specifics with your adviser.

What hardware do we need, and what will it cost?

It depends on how many people will use it and which tasks you want covered. We recommend a machine after the first call, and you buy it directly from the supplier at their price.

Is it as good as the big public AI tools?

Open-source models are strong at reading, searching and summarising documents, which is most of what firms need. Where they fall short for a task, we'll show you during the demo rather than after you've paid.

Can we rely on its answers?

Treat it like a quick, capable article assistant whose work is always reviewed. Answers point to the file and page they came from, so checking is fast, and your firm signs off on everything, as it does today.

What happens if something breaks?

Monthly support covers fixes and updates. Most issues can be solved without touching client data, and we'll tell you before any visit or remote session.
